The longform Washington Post piece on the last decade in Libya is both terrific journalism and an absolutely horrifying exposé on American foreign adventurism. Unfortunately, in what I can only describe as "operationalized ideology," the article mentions Obama, the guy who created this mess, a grand total of two times. I did a quick google search on Obama/Libya and outside of coverage in 2016 when Obama called Libya "my worst mistake" I struggled to find any big analyses/critiques/exposés about how Obama completely fucked up Libya.
