This week, border tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan escalated into a serious clash. The migrant crisis in Belarus showed signs of easing, though the situation remains unstable. Billions of dollars in Iranian assets were unfrozen ahead of new talks on reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
